Background & Education
Lindsey Thomson is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology where she learned and developed her counselling and intervention skills. Lindsey also has a Bachelor of Education and is an Ontario Certified Teacher, which has helped to enrich her counselling skills by providing an educative lens to working with clients.
Lindsey has experience working with individual adults and families on a variety of topics including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships, workplace conflict, self-esteem, anger management and career counselling.
Lindsey is under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist and actively works with the Psychologist for consultation purposes to provide the best practices and skills to individually meet each client’s unique needs, all while ensuring client confidentiality and privacy.
In November 2017 I had the opportunity to speak on Rogers TV about the significance of Canada Career Month and talk about barriers that young professionals are currently experiencing in the workforce.
